I'm your average, every day student. My major? Hella boring. My friends? Hella not!. In case you're curious, I'm currently an undergraduate in Computer Engineering with a Leadership minor at Iowa State University (Go Cyclones!). As of right now, I'm also interning for Rockwell Collins. Yay!
In between coursework and...regular work, I tend to let my mind wander. I'm brimming with creativity, but I have neither the skill nor the time to take the pictures swirling around in my head and make them into art. I tried when I was younger, as you can tell by my barftastic deviations. I have all these ideas cascading from my imagination, begging to be placed somewhere, anywhere, but they stay bottled up in my brain. Sometimes my mind caves in and I simply must create. When this happens, my go-to medium is usually acrylics on canvas. Even then, even then, I cannot always copy my created world. It's frustrating.
What's even more frustrating is not having the necessary ingredients to cook up an artist.
Need some time to practice? Too bad. School and work take precedence.
Want brushes, paints, a work area, and a new canvas for every project? Hello, my name is Broke College Student.
How about you take a few art classes? Okay, I'll just add that on to my tuition, rent, taxes, and cost of living. And I'm sure it will fit into my already full schedule.
Okay, okay, I get the point already, yeesh.
So, if you haven't already guessed it by now, I don't upload much. Maybe I will in the future when I'm done with school or have successfully burned down the entire state of Iowa when summer comes along. For now, I'll be a good little motherfucking angel and focus on my coursework. Hoo-rah. (ಠ__ಠ)
